After officially bidding summer goodbye, everyone becomes excited about the new activities that come with fall. After all, it is one of those seasons when people get to slow down a little and enjoy the moment. But don’t ever think that this season is boring! We mean that with the colder weather, the air crisper and fresher, many take the time to pause and ponder a little.
Whether you are an adrenaline junkie or you’re a laidback person, you will surely find something that will fit you. Here are six things you can do in Sacramento during the Fall season!
1. Visit a pumpkin farm.
The smell of pumpkin takes over the entire state during fall! Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pies, and pumpkin soup, are all the rave in this season. There are also other family activities to do here as well, such as pic races and chicken shows, among others!
2. Take a long walk along the river.
Sure, you can do this anytime, but when can you appreciate the gorgeous foliage more? Bring a friend or your dog and stroll along the Sacramento river! At this time of the year, the scenery becomes so beautiful, and the place is a little more serene!
3. Check out the Leland Stanford Mansion.
Located in downtown Sacramento, the Leland Stanford Mansion is considered a historical building. It was built in 1856 and was purchased by the co-owner of Stanford University – thus, the name.
